Both are shrink-wrapped and include not only the license key, but the COA sticker for your case. As far as I've been reading, these can be used for the upgrade to an upgrade method for a clean install. These are for Vista Home Premium 32bit. I'm not sure if they can be traded in for a 64 bit version.

I'm looking for $70 each shipped. As for trades, I'm always listening, and I might be interested in some DDR2 sticks.

sorry to ask this, but what exactly can you upgrade from?

i've never really found a place that explicitely says what you need to use the Upgrade for Vista.. (i've bought 2 OEM vista kits but not the upgrade yet)..

will this upgrade from XP or Win2k?

what is the difference between this and hte normal upgrade?

It is a normal upgrade, that can upgrade XP or 2000 with no problem. You can also use it for the clean install, usnig the "trick" that's been posted all over.

Down to 1 left.

usually the dell CDs (like all the xp install disks from dell) only work with dell computers (it checks bios for it)

are these the same?

No, these have been tested to work on other brands as well. My dad is currently using the third disc I have for his clone PC.
