Update: Pending sale on Friday.
Selling a used Dell Inspiron E1405 Core Duo laptop. Overall good condition, and everything works great. I just did a zero fill/wiped the hard drive clean and installed Windows XP Media Center Edition yesterday. I have also installed all microsoft windows updates including service pack 3. All the necessary drivers are installed for the laptop as you can see in device manager in one of the screenshots included in this ad. Everything has been done, and this laptop is ready to go. Only thing included is the laptop itself, charger and the Dell branded Windows CD that was used to install Windows on the laptop.
Some things to take note of:
- Left monitor/screen hinge is loose, but works fine
- The hard drive door cover is bare metal instead of being painted. The paint was peeling off on the cover, so I just completely removed the rest of it.
- Marks and wear on the top lid. Nothing major at all, purely cosmetic
- Battery does not hold a charge, and/or lasts only 20-30 minutes unplugged
Hardware:
- Intel Yonah Core Duo T2300 (1.66 GHz/2MB L2 Cache)
- Western Digital 120GB SATA Hard Drive
- 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300 Ram-Memory
- DVD-RW - CD-RW Optical Drive
- 14.1" WXGA+ UltaSharp Widescreen with TrueLife (1440 x 900)
- Built in Wireless: Dell 1390 Mini Card 802.11 b/g (54 Mbps)
Software:
- Windows XP Media Center Edition with SP3
- Microsoft Office XP (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Powerpoint)
- Nero 7 (For burning DVDs and CDs)
- Avast Free Anti-Virus Edition

Screenshots:
Asking price is $185 shipped via FedEx Ground. PM me if you need any more info or photos of the laptop. If you are looking for something that has a bit more juice, I also have a HP G62-340US laptop that I just bought last week that I may also sell soon. Thanks for looking.
