Sold.

I purchased myself a new Kindle so I no longer need my trusty third generation Kindle.

It is the Graphite Kindle with Keyboard model without special offers/advertisements, as seen here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Y27P3M/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It also comes with a brown version of this case:

And a quality screen protector that I applied when I purchased the Kindle from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003I7YDQ4/ref=oh_details_o09_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Everything is in very good condition. I personally can't find any defects on the Kindle and the case only has some slight indentations on the inner cover caused by the straps.

I will include the USB cable and little instructional booklet. I do have the original box but that will add to the cost of shipping.

Price: $33 + shipping. Without the original box, I can likely fit everything inside a USPS Flat Rate box ($5.15 shipping cost).

Heatware under dj-2004.

Hmm, really interested. I'm going on a cruise in 2 weeks and would like to throw some books on an e-reader to take with me. The wife has a Kindle Fire, but I've been trying to hold out for a Nexus ;)

If it's still up here by Wednesday, I may pick it up. Is it easy to drop existing mobi files on these via USB?

It should just be drag and drop.
