Yea I would be interested but, as noted by many reviews and tests, I want to wait until they fix the major problems with the system

You might do well to hold on to them until a lot of fixes are done.
You might makemore off the sale later on down the road.

I was under the impression that the key would work for both 64 and 32 bit. But you need to send your CD to M$ and they will swap the 32 for a 64-bit

No, Vista isn't as problematic as the start. I've had no issues on my rig to date.
