FS Opteron 146, Gem overclocker, 3090Mhz Prime on air

Alright i'm selling an Opteron 146 oem CPU, it's a CABQE 0547GPMW. And if you've been looking at SDs and Opties, you'd know that week 47 = ownage.

I had this thing doing 2.9 Ghz on stock volts with the stock heatsink, it's a TERRIFIC cpu. I dont have the screenshot, but on my ACFreezer64pro i was able to clockgen it to 3405 Mhz - it froze when i hit "take screenshot" on my SS program. Keep in mind this was with the CPU idling at 30C.

I put it on my aircooling, which is an AC Freezer64 Pro

3050 Mhz Prime with 1.52 volts

Also ran a SP 32M at 3.12 Ghz with the same voltage as above

This thing gets hot, so it's totally temperature limited. If you had watercooled and popped the IHS off... this chip definitely has 3.15-3.2 Ghz stable in it. 3.1 Ghz on air with 48c load is insane.

There is nothing special about my setup, this is totally untweaked, haven't even touched A64 tweaker with this CPU. Not enough time to tweak it, definitely has MORE in it.

This is a serious CPU for serious buyers, i am asking 270$ shipped USPS Priority CONUS only. I will ship within 24 hours unless i have a mid-term or something! No trades please... but please bump thread for a great overclocker!

:eek: Nice indeed...that is a rare overclocking gem...on air at 1.56V and it hits 3.1ghz...
People must be looking at dual core...but this single core with its ihs off on good watercooling would definitely hit 3.2Ghz...great for gaming....
 
No thanks i'm pretty good on hard drives. If anyone has high end watercooling parts, i'd consider those in trade.
 
2 questions.

How's the memory controller on it?

Do you take CC paypal if I cover the percentage?

I've only tried it on 2gb of ram. All i can say is it worked well 100% untweaked with every divider i tried. I never ran the ram much past 270 though as this 2gb stuff won't go too far.

CC-Paypal is A-OK by me.

Good to see XS guys here ;). XS FS section is way too small tho...
