Westinghouse 37W3se LCD monitor

Practically brand new.
I'm selling it because it is not getting used as much as I thought it would be.
I'm away from home most of the time.

As you can see, it is pretty much in factory condition.
The wrapper is still intact and stickers have not been tampered.
Brightness and Backlight have been kept to minimum.
Comes with everything that came with the box.
Will be shipped in original retail box.

I'm willing to part this for $700+ Whatever shipping it costs from 92833 California.

Local pickup is much preferred.

I will not accept any trades.

Thanks.

UPDATE

I wasn't aware of the EDID problem in this line of model.
I do NOT observe any of this problem and that's why I was oblivious of this fact.
As for proof,

Couldn't answer you question since I'm not aware of what EDID is.

Did you ever plug a HD-DVD or 360 or PS3 into it and use 1080p? The faulty EDID refers to a chipset issue, I believe, that doesn't recognize 1080p inputs and therefore won't output it on the screen. Considering the 1080p is a major selling point for this TV, it's a pretty big issue.

EDIT: From a Newegg reviewer:

"Cons: A large number of LVM-37w3se's were sent out with faulty EDIDs (memory chips that identify what resolutions and timings the monitor is capable of). This has the potential to render your 1080p devices incapable of outputting 1080p, nullifying the main advantage of this monitor. There's no guarantee you won't get one of these faulty monitors from NewEgg and have to ship it to Westinghouse out of your own pocket to fix it. For more info on the EDID problem Google "LVM-37w3se EDID". Below average deinterlacer and scaler make this a poor choice for any device that does not send a 1080p signal, such as standard def game consoles, satellite/cable boxes with mixed 480i/720p/1080i outputs, and standard def DVD players. Also only one each of HDMI and DVI inputs, and no optical/digital audio out."

Anyway, bump for a Cali deal, wish I had the money to drop on this, but considering it's a SE and refurbs go for $600......

Good luck either way.

when u're using it as a computer monitor, how is the performance at 1920x1200, does it have any shadowing in FPS games?

Zero ghosting via DVI connection.

It dIsplays 1080p perfectly.

The resolution is 1920x1080 though.. not 1920x1200 like other 24 inchers.
