Hi guys! My brother bought a Fujitsu-Siemens E24W-1SD which I see is a TN panel claimed at 5ms response time. I can't find any review or customer feedback information about this model on the Internet. I did find a couple of specification details pages (links below).

Is this a good display? Is Fujitsu-Siemens a good brand name? Is their firmware decent? What problems do their 24" TN screens have? I see that their P24-1W and S24-1W have S-PVA panels.

My bro will be doing general computer use, some gaming and also screen cast videos (of game tournaments in Company of Heroes, for example).

Here are the couple pages I found with specs list:

I think he just wants a capable display that is a good return on what he spent.

Thank you very much for your advice/feedback!! Hopefully this thread can help others when they google this display.

I do own a P24-1W monitor which is basically identical in capabilities to a 2407WFP (also own one) I believe they even have the same panel. I couldn't tell them apart by lookin at the pictures. Similarly to the 2407WFP, the P24-1W also has built-in USB hub and card reader, HDCP compatible and has SVIDEO input. As for functionality, the FSC offers a lot more than the DELL since it has picture-in-picture mode, interpolation can be set on it manually (you can force small resolution video to appear in the original size so it won't appear full screen) and also offers side-by-side video display (PAP).

As for the smaller model with the TN panel, I can't really tell. Actually I've found your post by searching on google for the monitor myself :D as I'm thinking about buying two of those to put beside the P24-1W as lateral displays :)

It's a cool place to look up monitors:
