Fuzzy Text Problem

Up until now, my computer has displayed text perfectly. Randomly, the text in my Instant Messages began to become fuzzy, as so:

My Windows Login screen also has fuzzy text (Welcome, my password, etc.). Text on Firefox is fine, however.

As stated, I have changed no options.

I'm on Windows XP SP2 with a Geforce 6800GT and two CRT monitors. Up until now, I've had no text problems.

This is conflicting with my work, so any replies would be greatly appreciated so I can fix this quickly and get back to my work. Thanks.

they make "clear type tuning" to help with that on LCDs. but try some of the setings on the monitor might help. just a suggestion

Well, it was working fine with my settings. I didn't change anything and randomly, it happened. A restart didn't help, either.

Update: Appear to have fixed it by telling the computer to use Standard text cleanup or something. Where you do the Clearfont command. Thanks everyone for helping.
