1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

This will be a gaming PC primarily.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

1500 bux including tax and shipping

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

Rochester, NY, USA -- I do not live near a Microcenter unfortunately. Amazon charges me tax but I do have prime. Newegg -- no tax.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

CPU, motherboard, memory, case, power supply, dvd/cdr burner, dvd-rom, video card, ssd, HD, cpu fan, card reader

I like the look of the Corsair 500R for its cable management but am open to suggestions. Maybe something lighter? I would like this pc to be quiet and not vibrate.

I also prefer modular power supplies.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

I'll be re-using a keyboard and mouse.

6) Will you be overclocking?

yes, but nothing extreme.. would prefer a quick stable overclock.

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?

I have two 30" Dells 2560x1600s. I only plan to game on one of the monitors. They do support display port / dvi. I may decide to hook this pc up to my plasma tv also using WIDI?

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

within the next few days

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

USB 3.0, SATA 6 Gb/s, maybe SLI but prefer single card solutions but am open to suggestions (no AMD). Possible WIDI support?

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

I have 64 bit windows 7 pro and windows 7 ultimate.

Thanks for any help / suggestions!

The RAM and GPU are no longer available together as a combo but those two parts are still good buys by themselves without the combo.

Good luck with the build!

Looks like I missed this combo deal:

$435 - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL 2 x 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM + eVGA 02G-P4-2670-KR GeForce GTX 670 2GB PCI-E Video Card Combo

Any alternatives?

woops... talk about timing!

For the card reader, anything on Newegg with decent reviews is fine, but most of them are 3.5" bay devices so you will need a 5.25" bay to 3.5" bay adapter if you go with the Corsair 500R (about 10$ on Amazon).
