Gaming while encoding with handbrake?

I apologize in advance if this is a silly question...is it possible to game while encoding a 1080p video without causing errors in the encoding process? Im using the system in my sig. Thanks for the info!

Yes unless your system is unstable. I game while encoding/compiling/etc all the time.
 
Yup, do it all the time, works great! Though I make sure to use different HDs to minimize loading delays, and depending on the game, maybe lock the processes to certain cores...

But I am picky...
 
even on my aging q8200 i dont have too much issue doing that. So with the i2500 you should be golden.
