Gateway 1280x720 FPD1775W 17” Widescreen Monitor???

Does anyone have this monitor or have any info on it? Because it has a HDCP DVI port and its native resolution is 1280x720 I was thinking that with an DVI --> HDMI adapter it might make a descent cheap ($160 after a $40 off 199 "movers" coupon at Circuitcity) monitor for hooking up a PS3 or XBOX360 to. I'm getting either a 360 soon or might get a PS3 when the new 40GB $399 one comes out and I need a HD capable monitor or TV. I want an LG L246W 24" but I can't justify the cost right now. (If it drops to $500 at bestbuy again then maybe). Any ideas? Thx!
