That chip struggled. 5.9Ghz

^same story Ud-7 B3 board 5.8Ghz

Since the new revision 9 2600k cpus passed the 5.8Ghz mark

What is the max multiplier on this chip? I thought it was 55x. Hmm, so what kind of cooling is everybody using? I really want to pick up this chipset, get 5Ghz reliable on air cool, with a antec 1200 and Hyper 212 +. If someone is on air cool, and 5Ghz, please post your temperatures. Thanks!

It is. People are increasing the bus speed to reach frequencies higher than 5.5GHz. Of course, it can't be done very much since it will destabilize other components.

Most 2600K/2500K that can go more than 5700Mhz or 5800Mhz also can boot up @ 57X or 58X. Same with 59X chips

I bumped upto 5.0 and hit 85c - didn't try to bump higher cause thats a bit hot for me
