This gigabyte board is emiting a high frequency whine that is driving me insane. I have used silcon to coat all the vrm inductors as well as L12, L16 inductors etc and it won't stop. Does anyone have this problem or know what component is doing it?
hey, did you find out the problem yet? i just installed vista and my DS3 is making the high-pitched whine now too. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. I just unplugged the speaker from the motherboard.
