I'm gonna upgrade to a E6400 probably next week (going from 3500+) and I just can't decide which motherboard to get! I won't be OC'ing.

If I get the DS3 ($270 in Iceland) I'll most likely get this memory: http://supertalent.com/products/product_detail.php?PN=T6UB1GC5
(verified by gigabyte and all)

But if I get the 975X ($300) I'll probably get the G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ (2x1Gb chips)

I'm kinda leaning towards the 975X but what do you guys/ladys think?

Well 975X is having some memory issue, BIOS is still in Beta Versions. DS3 on the other hand is not that good also. Decisions Decisions.

I'm thinking about getting the DS3 myself. I already have 2GB of Super Talent memory which I love (see sig), I hope it's 100% compatible with the DS3.

I have the Gigabyte DS3 and have been very pleased. I have had zero problems so far.

I've had zero problems with my DS3 as well, why is it not a good choice?

Why don't you consider Asus P5B. I have both DS3 and P5B, but prefer P5B for its stability.

If you're talking about the P5B vanilla then definitely the DS3 is better. The P5B is too limited for OCing.

Well, since it was payday today I expanded my budget a little. How does this sound:

E6400
ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ

(all for a whopping $1142  )

You think that my OCZ 520w ModStream could power this all (12v is 26A or 28A)
