Trying to understand the premium price on this model. You are paying for the windforce cooler, the extra dvi, extra displayport?

I assume only 4 of the ports can be used -- any combination hopefully?

Anyone have one of these?

It has improved power regulation (6+2), a very nice cooler (better than the 970 version, which I have), and a factory OC.

its 60 bucks more than the EVGA 980 with ACX 2.0 so at 629 I say why pay that much? You can buy 2 970's of just about any kind for a couple bucks more and have more performance than the 980 G1

the Windforce 600W in the Gigabyte G1 its way better than any EVGA cooler.. in terms of cooling performance and noise.. the 980 G1 use 8+8 power connectors with an improved thermal limit.. you need to buy a 980 FTW of Classified to have the same 8+8 power connectors and the premium price its higher in those cards..

We'll I bought 2 of these cards because I had $100 gift card and I sold my 3 780s for $900. They will be here on Weds so I'll let you know how they Overclock.
