Ok I know its an AMD board, No SLI which is fine, but the second full size PCIE Slot if used drops em both to x8 bandwidth. If I wanted to use, say a 9600GT Low Power as a PhysX card would that negatively impact the performance of my GTX260?
 
It drops the first one down to x8 if you run crossfire. I don't think it'll drop down the first slot to x8 if your not running crossfire.
 
Just try it and report back. If it drops down to x8 for your 260 and your fps suffer just ditch the stand alone physics idea.
