I was in the market for some good overclocking pc4000 2gb dual channel kits. After looking for a while, I decided to take a risk and buy some Gigaram branded sticks. The reviews on Newegg seem to be good and the specs and price is awesome. They're $30-50 less than comparable sticks. The last time I "took a risk" was on some G.Skills and they turned out to be pretty good.

Anyone have any experience with Gigaram?

g.skill isn't a risk to me. gigaram is :p

but hey.. it's worth a shot. if you get bad ram, just rma for a new set.

G.Skill isn't a risk now...but it was when it first came out and I bought a set of GBLE's before anyone had ever heard of them. :p

hehe, g.skill's actually been around a long time, just not outside of taiwan i guess. :p
there's another company with a similar situation g.skill was in not too long ago: teamgroup :D
