Good idea? x800 question

I sold my 9800xt a few weeks ago in anticipation of the new X800XT PE. I'm getting sick of waiting though. After being in queue at CDW for two weeks and having a cancelled gateway order, I'm losing patience. I just got a job today that starts monday, this is my last week of free time. Do you guys think it's worth it to go ahead and get an X800 Pro with overnight shipping from outpost, so that I can game with my pc before I start work on monday? Or should I hold on to my money and just wait for the X800XT PE? If I get the X800 Pro, I will sell it and buy the XT PE around July 2nd which is my first pay day.

What do you think?

Currently, my system has a Geforce 3, which is draining my will to live.
 
Not married :p .

I am, however, a poor college student who has to carefully consider every financial move. I'm saving up for my own place and can't afford to spend every dime I make ;) . Looking at ebay, I don't think I'll have a problem making my money back on the X800 Pro, so that's what I think I'll do.
