ground loops

anyone had much expirience in tracking down and eliminating ground loops in their audio system? I'm not having much luck a was looking for some help.
 
Disconnect the cable TV feed from the system and see what you get.....
 
Yes, cable is the largest culprit for a ground loop. Especially if the cable run is long in your home. If the cable is running near your power wires, a ground loop can be caused.
 
you can get rid of it completely without having to track down the whatevers causes by going digital. I have a horrible time with interference and it's one of the primary reasons I just bought a digital receiver.
