Ground Wires in HDD Molex Connector

Is there any difference between the two ground wires that you find in a standard HDD molex power connector?

I know that you've got wires for both 5V and 12V, but are the two ground wires paired with each one or do they all come back to a common ground in the PSU?

I'm asking because I'm going to re-sleave my PSU wiring and I'm wondering if I need to keep track of which ground goes to where...

They are the same; both lead back to a common ground in the psu. Every ide drive I have seen has the two ground pins connected together on the pcb. You don't have to worry which ground is which; in fact you could use only one ground per drive if you wanted.

I did this with my naked mod custom wiring (2nd curved black wire in image behind the others is actually an rs232 cable for led display):
