GSKILL vs CORSAIR for Conroe

Just picked up a set of the g.skill, not sure how they oc though.

Hey eclipse, these any good?

I wish I actually had a complete system to put these in. :(

the g.skill hz actually are pretty good. the corsair is as well, but i think that on average, those g.skill will win an overclocking contest, since corsair puts the best ic's into the 6400C3 and 8500C5

8500C5 is sometimes easier to make than 6400C4.

seriously? haha.. you guys do use D9GMH chips, right?

We use a variety of chips for the 6400C4s, mostly micron but also some other manufacturers on the newer stuff. Until recently the yield on microns was easier to get 1066 MHz @ 5-5-5 than 800 MHz at 4-4-4, which of course meant that getting 800 MHz @ 3-4-3 was nearly impossible, which is why the 6400C3s cost like $400+ a pair.

They are very good since yours are S/N 0606. They carry Micron D9GMH chips and can OC like crazy!
