Well after some research I've narrowed my selection down to the following options:

Opt 1:
1x 150GB Raptor (OS, Apps, Games)
1x 320GB Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200KS (Media Storage / Page file)

Option 2:
2x 250GB Western Digital WD2500KS

The deciding factors here are noise level, reliability and performance. I do a considerable amount of multitasking (flash, photoshop, illlustrator, etc.) and a pretty good amount of gaming (BF2, CS 1.6 mostly), so I'd say the comps time is divided about 60/40 work to games.

FWIW, the new drives will be going in the following system around December:
e6600 Conroe
ASUS Striker Extreme 680i SLI
2GB G.Skill DDR2 PC800
8800GTX (another one after the money comes through on my arm and leg)
NEC DVD Recordable Drive
OCZ GameXstream 700w PSU
TJ09 Case (if I can make enough money working the corner)

Im worried the raptor will be too loud given the design of the TJ09. Although with all of the case fans, I dont know how quiet it's going to be regardless of the drives.

Thanks.

Option 1. The Raptors aren't especially loud, just fast.

BTW, what's the going rate on legs these days? I've been considering taking that route for a while now

Knew it was going to be the more expensive of the two.

I'm still taking offers on the leg. Given the going rate of bone marrow (about $23,000 per 1000 grams) I figure my leg with the femur, tib and fib alone is worth about 100 grand. :p
