Hey everyone,
If some of you remember my last thread I got a HD4850 with a Accelero twin turbo, OC'd to 690/1183 which is what ATI catalyst caps it as stable. 1mhz over those numbers and I get artifacts all over my cames. I was told by a friend in passing that volt modding/ BIOS flashing the card would get better speeds/performance. Is this true? What does volt modding do exactly? how is it done? The card itself runs at 52C at load (room temp is about 31C) while playing games like farcry 2 maxed out or fallout 3.
If anyone wouldn't mind helping me in the subject I'd appreciate it. I have a Sapphire HD4850 512mb DDR3 non-toxic edition.
