I'm having an issue trying to use an X850XT with a Samsung 52" HDTV. I could have sworn it worked but after doing a clean install using the latest drivers the TV just says "mode not supported". I'm using a DVI-to-HDMI cable, which works fine on another computer with a X1900XT, so the TV and cable are fine.

Wondering if somehow the new drivers are the issue, the fresh install of XP replaced out of date drivers from at least a year ago maybe older. So Cat 8.1 doesn't work but Cat 6.X did? Weird.

Maybe ATI users with HDTV hookups could help me sort this out?

Another issue. Cyberlink's "Advisor" program lists the NVidia 8800GT as "uniknown" for HD or Blu DVD compatibility, and lists the 169.21 drivers as NOT HD/Blu compatible??? This is on XPpro. Same program does NOT list the LG combo HD/Blu DVD drive as compatible. Is Cyberlink just out of touch, on drugs, or am I?:rolleyes::p
