Heat pipe for 7900 gt?

I can't stand the mini hurricane type noise on my pny 7900 gt. Can i use the zalman heat pipe or something else? anything diffrent then this!

id say the 7900gtx is quiet but the 7900gt must be loud with that small heatsink i know the 7800gt is loud :/

I have a G5 mac, and my old pc was all passive cooling and 12db 800mm fans.

This is frustratingly loud.

Get a Zalman VF700 Copper and run the fan at 7v or 5v or whatever the low speed is. Dead silent and it will still run pretty damn cool.
