Hey guys, so I picked up one of the 805e's that were on sale at Fry's as well as a GA-MA790X-UD4P. I'm used to OC'ing Black Editions so bear with me. Right now, I'm still using my 4 x 1GB DDR2-800 XMS2 DHX sticks and 520w PSU. So far, all I've done is unlock the 6MB for L3 =d.

Basically, what would I need to do to get chip, to say... 3.6ghz? I'm assuming new RAM is needed. Anything else? What are safe voltages for these chips? I'm cooling with a Tuniq Tower 120.

Thanks in advance...

I think you could safely go up to 1.55V for these chips? You can still use the existing DD2-800, just make use of the lower memory dividers to run memory asynchronous from the HTT. Only difference between BEs and regular chips is the unlocked divider so get used to just messing around w/ the HTT, NB and VTT voltage, chip voltage, memory voltage, etc to find where the HTT limits of the board and processor are. Running the highest HTT possible on the highest multiplier usually gives the best OC.
