Bought a 2GB kit of Patriot Signature Line PC3200 (2 x 1GB) for use with my ASUS K8N-VM (microATX) motherboard.
I'm getting random reboots and, if I'm in WinXP too long, program crashes and BSODs. Here's some questions/other information:
Any suggestions? Other than send it back to Newegg.com?
Thanks,

I'm getting random reboots and, if I'm in WinXP too long, program crashes and BSODs. Here's some questions/other information:
- I see that ECC is turned on in the BIOS (this is non-ECC DDR). Should I turn that off? I did not have any such crashes with the Crucial PC3200 1GB (2 x 512MB) kit that I had installed before.
- Do I need to manually set my timings for the RAM in the BIOS? Everything is set to auto -- no overclocking. I don't have voltage modification options, BTW, in this board's BIOS.
- I've tried just 1 stick of the DDR -- still got the errors.
Any suggestions? Other than send it back to Newegg.com?
Thanks,
