i have win vista64 and i did a bunch of windows updates the other day and im sure that is the problem as i went to watch a youtube video today and i dont have any sound while watching? i have sound in windows for other things and in media player classic.

i did a search and a lot of fixes come up and i have tried several but nothing works?? has anyone else had this problem? a few places think it has something to do with flash, and i think that was one of the updates.

im running firefox 13.0.1

i hope someone can help as its handy to have sound with youtube videos.

thanks

is it a specific YouTube video or all YouTube videos with no sound? Also adobe released a flash update for Firefox but that was for crashes. It may still take care of the problem. Finally you can always use ie or chrome if needed.

yeah, its all youtube videos.
i did update flash and i think thats what started the problem but i will try updating again?

*EDIT*
actually i just uninstalled the latest flash player and that fixed the problem.
will wait for the next flash update before downloading again. hopefully the next one is
better then this last one.
