help with high cpu issue

i hav been using my htpc for almost a yeah now with no issues what so ever. yesterday i did some rewiring and since then my cpu is running +60% usage with no other changes. right from boot it went 60 and often goes 100% for a few seconds there is nothing strange running in the task manager and nothing out of the ordinary in hijackthis so is there something else that wold cause the cpu to behave this way after a rewire... haha that sounds retarded.

Arange the processes by CPU use and then pick the one using 60%.

none idle is at 99 there is nothing on startupin msconfig and nothing in the run or run once regestry.
