questions are:

1. will it work in the motherboard i have now?

2. will it run at ddr400 or will it run faster?

3. im also thinking about buying a new motherboard next week, was thinking about this one: MSI "Neo2-PFISR " i865PE Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU -RETAIL

4. u guys think i will be able to OC my cpu any more with new board and ram?
thx guys

Waste! What is wrong with your current memory? It's BH-5. People kill for that and pay upwards to $360 for it. And there's no doubt it will overclock to PC4000 speeds and higher when given more voltage.

But to answer your question,

Yes, the PC4000 aka ddr500 will run in your ddr400 supported board, just as your PC3500 can run at pc3200. DDR is always backward compatible, so to speak. You may run faster rated memory at lower speeds. The answer to your last question is mostly likely a no.

well actually forgot to update my sig, long story on how this happened, but i have 1 corsair 3500, and 1 crucial 2700. so i wanna run dual channel, and my friend is buying this ram from me for $200 so i figure i would upgrade for another $100. but i also want a new board that handles the faster ram....
