Right now I have a 22" LG monitor with only VGA and DVI inputs.
I'm going to be purchasing the 24" BenQ G2400WD and some sort of LCD/Plasma TV 32"-42".
My main concern is Hooking up my Asus g1s laptop to all three of these displays.
The laptop has an hdmi out so what would be the best way to split the connection to all three displays,
and would it be possible to also hook up my 360 and PS3 to all three displays?

Thanks.

Most people want to put multiple sources into one TV, not the other way around. Whats the point of displaying the same image over all 3 screens (what the splitter does)? I don't get it.

Matrox triplehead2go is what you need to have a real triple monitor setup, but I'm leery as to the actual usability of this. I think you should ditch the 22 incher.

Why don't you think the triple head would work. I just want to be able to choose what screen im using for my computer.

Then you don't want a splitter. You need to just plug it into the screen that you want to use. I can't fathom that you'll be switching that often... my 2 cents is that its a waste to have all of those. The big tv is fine for the ps3/360, but the 24 makes the 22 completely redundant if you're not having a multi monitor setup.

I don't think the input lag would be a problem, but HDCP might be if you are double splitting your signal at some point.

If your laptop has DVI or HDMI I would look into a DVI splitter that splits out one signal to 3 or more like this:

And you can use a DVI cable to the BenQ and DVI to HDMI cables purchased from Monoprice to the HD TV. The DVI splitter is a bit pricey but then we can send your all our new monitors so that you can do input lag testing for us :)

Don't drop the CRT reference screen please :) Just kidding.

Would one of these work:

and then to make up for not outputting to 3 devices I could use this splitter?

Or would there be too much input lag you think?
