My brother has this host and he says it runs pretty good. Its VDECK 2.0 Control panel if your familiar with that. 3 MYSQL servers, and more.
The thing that impresses me is the 1GB Space and 40GB Bandwidth for 7.95/month.
Does anyone have experience with Starlogic?? I am thinking of getting another domain with them.
I currently have http://www.ipaska.com and it has been real good as well using Cpanel with 100MB 8GB transfer for 4.95...i think.

www.powweb.com
Our gaming community has been with Powweb for roughly four or five months now and it's been ridiculous. Their service is far below par. When requesting help, they either ignore you or answer with a (in their opinion) witty retort that has nothing to do with the solution to your problem.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. So far, in the time we've been with them, the website has gone through periodic episodes of slowdown. Hence the complaints. We're nowhere near our limits in storage or bandwidth and there's minimal content on the site itself.
Their service and their product is not worth the pain, time, and effort.
I recently bought hosting for my personal website through www.totalchoicehosting.com and so far I'm impressed. I'm glad I looked at this thread before I bought my hosting.

been with them for about 7 or 8 months or so.. great uptime, it went down once for a few days.. right now they are reselling from theplanet.com which is really realiable.. i can contact them easily by e-mail and even called them by phone once. one of the owners is a member on here too..
reliable hosting, good price, reliable support.. and you support the [H] community.
the place where i work has been using crystaltech for about a year now.. they are pretty good.. i have called them up and talked to a live person pretty easily numerous times.,.. gotten through right away, and they were helpful.. the control panel is well layed out and pretty full of features... we use them for coldfusion hosting too..RCGodward said:http://www.crystaltech.com
I've used them for about a year and a half. My company has used them for over 2 years. Very quick servers, excellent knowledge base on their web site, and if you can't get help there, tech support responds in minutes. Best price / performance for Cold Fusion hosting I've found anywhere. Highly reccomended.
He's Austrailian, and so is his company, but they do maintain their hosting operations at a US-based colocation center (365Main). However, he's about to get screwed for evading taxes.
Let me break down ipaska as I know it. Ipaska received several hundred thousand dollars of loans from a bank in the US (around the time he overhauled his operation and moved into 365main), and now has become unprofitable. I don't know the timetable, but he stands a risk of having company assets confiscated due to lack of payment, should money become short. Thats why spending is virtually zero, especially since he's probably going to be moving customers to existing servers (he's done that already, and is upping loads on each individual machine).

I've been with them for about 8 months now without any problems at all. I pay $10 a month for 800MB of space, 40GB of transfer and all the other regular extra's (unlimited email forwarding, web access, cgi, etc). You can host up to 3 full domains and they'll register a domain under your name for you for as long as you host with them (you can transfer the domain to another registrar if you please). Blah blah blah... I'm happy with it and they've got some great plans for those of us who can't afford dedicated hosting.
