HDTV tuner?? set top box?? im real ignorant to these things so sum help would be appreciated... wat do i need to buy to get off the air high-def channels.. or regular tv channels for that

How can i turn my gateway FHD-2400 into a tv??

If you want to use it standalone as a tv, you could get something like the Samsung DTB-H260F HDTV Tuner. You would hook it up with hdmi or component. It also has audio out jacks to feed into your audio setup. It only tunes HDTV (atsc) though, it doesnt have an NTSC(analog) tuner.
If you wanted to use it as a tv, through your computer, you could get one of the many HDTV tuner cards. These usually handle ntsc as well. (but ntsc looks horrible compared to HD
