they were pretty close, as there was supposed to be several launching with P55.
Seems the chip/firmware/drivers/something had a problem and P55 launch mobos won't include USB3.
The USB3/SATA6Gbps/PCI-E3 transition is going to do to mobos what PCI-E did a while back, make everybody who bought gen1 without it feel stupid. Which includes myself, as I doubt my next mobo will support those technologies.
