How do I adjust and set the camera in SupCom ?

I installed Supreme Commander last night, played a few skirmeshes, and liked it, but it is killing me with the camera alway looking over the top, I like the StarCraft view of 45 degrees, but in SupCom I can press the space bar to move the angle down, but then when I let go it jumps right back to the lame top view which is hard to see everything, and my resolution seems way to small to view anything of 2560x1600
