I had 2 LCDs connected to the pc at one point. The LCDs were Dell 2005FPW and 2405FPW using GeForce XFX 6600GT AGP graphic card (both DVI connections) and it was working fine, latter I connected another 2005FPW to the same computer by adding another XFX FX5200 PCI graphic card (I don't have PCI E spot on mother board) and now it has 3 monitors connected. It's working fine except that it takes longer time to initialize on the beginning. I'm thinking to connect another monitor to this computer 1905FP this will have to be connected thru VGA since 5200 card has only one DVI.
I'm curious as how hard this gonna be for the computer to drive all this.

The comp specs are:

AMD 3600+
3GB Mushkin RAM
76GB 10K RPM WD
400GB WD 16M

TAIA

Why not just buy a dual dVi nvidia PCI card? Do they make them in PCI? I only use PCI -E, so I am not so sure. But they have quad video output in PCI from matrox, dont' they?.

Get Ultramon...great multi monitor program.
As for running 4 LCD's it shouldn't be much of an issue for your PC.
Go for it.

You can always add another 5200 PCI (assuming you have the slots available) to add another dvi display. Windows doesn't really have a problem with adding displays.
