How is HIS and their products?

I do not know much about this company so I am simply looking for some feedback regarding warranty, technical support, quality, etc. Thinking of purchasing a HIS 4870 X2 so I am just trying to do a little research on the company. Thanks!

Not heard anything bad about HIS unless you are trying to claim rebates (they are bad at honoring rebates).
however, dont shoot your gfx card as it may invalidate your warranty like this guy and his lawnmower

Only experience I had is when I noticed the HDMI adapter for my HD 3870 was of the wrong type (they provided the one for the 2900 series and not the one for the 3000 series in which the difference is the newer one allowed for audio pass through). Never received a response from the support request, so for me that was not a good sign.

I've had great luck with HIS. I've only had to RMA one card & it was very simple to do. They had a pretty quick turn around time too. I will be buying their products again.

I have 5 HIS 4850 ICEQ version.

All have been great. No Complaints here!
