How sould i set these up?

I've ripped a few systems apart, and got some extra drives now. I am going to put them into some systems i got but i'm unsure on how i will set everything up.

i have.

1x 150GB Raptor
1x 160GB (Dell) Raptor
4x 250GB Western Digital drives
(all above are 16mb)

1x 200 WD drive (8 mb cache)
2x 80 WD drives (8mb cache)

I have a good amount of hard drives here, and i figure i can be using them.
wondering how they should be set up...raid no raid all that jazz

I had thought about getting rid of all the 8mb cache drives, and just working with the newer drives.

what do yall think?
 
well you could setup a nice raid5 on the 4x250 drives with a raid controller
might as well keep the others also
 
Personally, I'd set up a raptor as my boot drive, set up the other raptor (160 gb) as "My Documents" disc, and then use the 4x250 for a RAID5 array for storage. You could also set up My Documents on this raid array
 
Nice ideas, i had thought about a RAID 5 for all the 250;s

another thing to keep in mind, i have two systems these drives can be used in.
 
i think it's the 200 and two 80 that have me wondering...they seem rather useless with all the other drives...
