How strong is a Blackberry Playbook's screen?

I have a Playbook and I have to watch where I leave it because my cat keeps wanting to step on it. Should I actually have to worry about this, or is it strong enough to support her weight? She's like 7 pounds, but that's 7 pounds concentrated into the small area of her paws so it's not like it's evenly distributed. Should I really be worried or can I just go ahead and let it anywhere and not worry about her going on it?

I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Leaving it in a bag can put more weight on a screen than your cat. When I got my tablet I treated it like china as well but they're quite tough!

Good to know, and my cat is declawed so don't have to worry about scratches.

I plan to just leave it out somewhere always plugged in, I'll be using it mostly as a thermostat. I even had thoughts of mounting it on the wall, but I will still use it for other stuff so don't want to dedicate it strictly for that function.
