You can get a free transfer cable. Just download this PDF from Microsoft, fill it out and send it in.

Just keep using your old hard drive till you get it, so you don't lose some newer saves/content.

If you can find one of those datel transfer kits, you can get a freeware program called Xplorer360 which will allow you to transfer over EVERYTHING... you can even make an "image" of your drive if you ever need to replace it. It definately came in handy when my 20gig drive was on its way out the door.
