I have standard evga GTX 570.

What tool do I use to overclock it?

Doesn't evga have some overclocking tool i can use?

Should I overclock it?
 
MSI afterburner is what I use ......simple and efficient
 
I use MSI afterburner. turn on voltage control and monitoring and set a fan profile
