As the title says, I'm upgrading my old 939 build to an AM3 build, but I'm keeping my Storm waterblock. I've run into a snag replacing the mounting plate though.

I'm using this mounting kit:

On this block:

(Well, close enough. I have one of the original Storms.)

I assume I'm gonna have to remove the block itself from the loop to get the plate off the block? Doesn't seem to be any other way. However the plate appears to be attached by rivets, not screws. How am I supposed to get them out?

Drain the loop, then take an allen wrench to those four bolts around the plate...

Ah didn't realize they had sockets, thought those holes were some random indentation put there during processing and the bolts were just rivets. I've had some pretty shitty experiences with rivets in my case (yanked out the HDD enclosure for my pump, it had like 4 rivets per side, and the shitty aluminum meant I tore just the heads off every time I pulled one out), so I wanted to check with you guys. I'm actually not with my computer ATM, it's up at school and I'm on spring break. Better to make a useless thread and get things cleared up now IMO than wait and be screwed later. :)

Thanks.
