How well would the X1900XT be in like 3d apps?

hello, i'm wondering, how well would the X1900XT be in like Maya 7, 3d max 8, ect.? I don't need a quadro or a firegl or whatever because 70 % of the time i'll be gaming, and the other 30 % i'll be just using maya 7, 3d max, and cs2. I'm not asking for great performance, i'm coming from a GeForce 5600 XT so it will be a huge jump. Thank you !
