Hello everyone,
While spec'ing out a new build I came across a product that I would love to know if it was compatible with another. The product in question is this areca single SATA/SAS 8087 port card:

And I would love to know if it is compatible with the chenbro expanders:

Does anyone know the best way to do this? Would I contact Areca and see if they would test its compatibility? Or would I contact Chenbro and test its compatibility? Or both?
The compatible list for the Chenbro cards is quite short and many of the cards have limited #'s of total hard drive support (16 drives in many cases). Getting this list longer I think would benefit both companies as well as the consumers (lower prices). Any thoughts on how to do this either specifically for this case or in general?
