Hybrid III-140 and MSI 980 Ti Gaming compatibility

Do you guys know, if Hybrid III would be compatible with MSI Gaming 6G 980 Ti? On their webpage, AC says, that they can only guarantee the reference board compatibility, and I'm not that happy about paying over 100 euro for the product that might now work.

No, I didn't... I just want to ask if that's compatible before paying. And I don't want to use it, check if it's okay and send it back - I've the right to return any product for 14 days without any reasons, but it would be unfair to shop, to try the stuff and see if it works, if I can ask people about their experience.
