I need Help ,radeon X1600pro or Geforce 6600 DDR2

After my geforce 4 Ti4200 I decided to change to PCI-E but I dunno , Gigabyte Radeon X1600 pro silentpipe or XfX Geforce 6600 DDR2.
Please I need Help? :(
 
Whats your budget? if you can push it a little more then then the 7600 .
I would rather save that extra 30% and get 70% to 100% difference.
 
cant push the budget more , and those two in egypt appr. at the same price(the ati one is 18$ expensive than the GF one)
 
sigh I guess a x1600 pro would work (just don't expect to play games with eye candy), but I would try to get 7300 GT if the price isn't that much higher.

*shrug* i can play all the source games nearly maxed out on an X1600pro with a P4 524...

and at 1280x1024
 
scout 007 dont you mean the 7600 and not the 7300 ? :confused:

Also if you cant push the budget then wait because things should start falling at the time of conroe because of supply and demand , i know they are both different components but it has effect on everything .

Overall people if they bought the conroe wil also have to buy graphics and what sells at that time will be something in the midrange and if your lucky it might just be the 7600.Also it will become cheaper now that the 7950 has started to kick in .7 series the way forward , at least for now.

I have two 6600gt XfX ones and i personally would not advise you and now have 7950 but its because of the 6600gt that i now have 7950 , because of there lack of performance even after having 512mb in total of ddr3 ram.
 
Thanx for all of U , I think I would go for the X1600 pro and I kinda like the sillentpipe tech. in it .
