It's been months since I last checked the hardware scene so I don't know everything.
With the config I have right now, sig, how would a 8800gt perform?
My 3.6ghz is clocked at 4.5ghz air cooled.
Thanks.

Coming off your X800XT-PE, an 8800GTS would be a huge improvement.

Yes but would the processor bottleneck, I mean, if I buy a new mobo and a E6300, would it do a big difference?

for gaming .. i rather be bottlenecked by cpu then by GPU

for now... changing to 8800GTS will for sure improve your gaming experience right away.

if you want . you can upgrade your mainboard and cpu too if you want

Yes, it probably would bottleneck. If you did get a new mobo and 6300, it'd help. By how much? I'm not sure.

Any reviews comparing this E6300 with my 560J or something similar?

Ahah, completely forgot about this website, man it's been a while.
Thanks, there IS a big difference.

LOL an E6300 oc'd to 3.3 will get the same CPU score as an EX6800! Wow. I love my C2D!

Yup, great values...I always ride the 'most bang for your buck' and usually surpass the premiere/fastest cpu or vid card with some smart overclocking
