I was unable to login into Steam for whatever reason for the last week (could login into website but not app) so I decided I should and try and absolve the issue...

For some reason I though uninstalling/reinstalling steam was the best bet.... WHY
I assumed the games would be left behin and the 15mb app could be interchanged, dum da dum dum dum.


Well ~180gb/44games data lose later I have learned again not to make clinch decisions while toasty. (Although I am now able to login into my Steam app...)

I hope my ISP does not freeze my connection in the next few days of re installation games/ bandwidth hogging.

The most annoying part for me will be reinstalling all my Oblivion/Stalker/ect mods, and finding out what games saves are still around </3

The good old clientregistry.blob rename always fixes any steam hangups for me.

I did that once. Fortunately, I keep a full back of my steam folder on my external drive.
