I want a 24" LCD with <10ms input lag that *swivels*(portrait mode). Does this exist?

The iiyama E2403 doesn't swivel. The B2403 does not appear to have acceptable input lag. All the other panels I've seen either have good input lag but no swivel capability, or the other way around (or both suck!)

Can anybody suggest a monitor with a response time comparable to the E2403, but swivels into portrait mode, or otherwise has a VESA mount?

LG246WP is pretty good on input lag vs most other *VA panels and supports portrait, but they are getting scarce.

The V7 D24W33, or V7 D24W33-N6 has height, tilt, rotate, swivel and 2ms response (dont know if that is grey to grey or not though).

As low as $377 also.

What's a V7? Never heard of that brand before.

The Gateway FHD2400 meets the requirements, but using a TN panel in portrait mode wouldn't be fun. Try to find an LG L246WP at Best Buy or Circuit City.

"The V7 group is an interesting project, one that relies on better strategic partners, well planned distribution and quality parts in their quest for being the new name branding king. What does this mean? Well for starters the V7 group is owned by Ingram Micro, one of the biggest distribution sources for PC parts for the last 25 years. Ingram Micro is the company many companies go to buy their inventory for fluid part sales and bulk pricing. This is a big company, one that has proven themselves as a stable player in the PC game and has more distribution centers worldwide than any other player to date. The end user may not be familiar with this name, but the purchaser of their favorite PC store will be.

This is a company project that focuses on bringing to the mass distribution channel name branded parts under the V7 moniker at a very fair market price. Monitors, Navigation devices and LCD televisions are just a few of the items currently available in their product lineup, and they have plans to expand this in the near future. The V7 group uses various panels from only a few select manufactures to incorporate into their monitor products, and always use "A" or better grade panels to insure quality control and reliability."

Basically to the original inquiry I would have to say no. Anything with sub 10ms lag is likely a TN panel. There is a reason most TN don't do portrait mode; they suck at it.

I actually prefer TN screens to VA screens when in Normal Landscape mode. Put them in portrait mode and I would reverse that opinion.

I have Dell 1707fp TN that does portrait, if I put it in portrait mode, I immediately feel cross eyed, just like using a VA screen in normal mode, but worse.

It's amazing how few people still don't comprehend input lag. Yikes.

Thanks for the comments, everybody else - I think I'll just score the Dell 2408, and find some space on my desk to keep my iiyama 19" DiamondTron CRT (yum) for gaming.
