So long story short, I just picked up a free Apple iBook G3 from my uncle. The only catch is that there is something terribly, terrible wrong with the laptop. Everything seems to be running fine with the only catch that nothing displays. Nothing at all. I have no idea if it is booted up or not because it makes no noise whatsoever. When I plug in the battery, though, I can hit the caps lock key and be delighted with that green LED shining back at my horribly excited state at owning my first Apple.
There is no AppleCare warranty or anything of the sort. What tools do I need to open it up and take a look? Do you think something just might be loose? Feeler: How much do you think I could get for this on eBay? I have no idea of the specs
